Here are some individual setups to watch today. MRK is our leading candidate, as we flagged it yesterday and it held up quite well.
Also, please see the correct economic calendar for today, which was absent in the first OP.
Lastly, today has the potential to be quite tricky with the FOMC on tap at 2pm ET. Keep that in mind when considering these (or any other) trades. We’ll need to see a strong close to warrant carrying overnight positions.
I know that’s kind of vague, but at 9 am and four hours ahead of “show time,” it’s impossible to know how things will shake out. These sort of binary market events make it hard on individual setups, but we must know where to put money to work if the setups align properly.
